You know, people like to say about cheap photographers, Oh, they’re the fast food of photography… the McDonalds, the Burger Kings. You don’t get anything special, but you get it cheap. You pay your low price, you get a CD of unedited images. Not thrilling (and hopefully not awful) but job done.
And then others like to call themselves exclusive with premium prices… they are the Tiffanys, the Barneys, the Bloomingdales. You get your beautiful packaging, your chocolate truffles, your photography all wrapped up exquisitely. It’s luxurious, it truly is.
I gotta admit, that’s not what I am. I am that little funky boutique where you walk in and everything catches your eye. Oh, look! you say. This could go in the bedroom. That could go in the living room. Oh, we have to get one of these for your sister.
I’m that one-of-a kind, just slightly eccentric shop where you find what you didn’t even know you’re looking for. On Melrose, on Magnolia in Burbank, in Long Beach, that strange little bookstore in downtown Los Angeles. I am filled with things you’re going to love. Pretty things, weird things, slightly heartbreaking things, gorgeous things. It speaks to you. It's unique and it's all yours. Just for you. I create for you and the love you have for your pet.
Yeah. That’s the kind of pet photographer I am.
