Thrilled to announce that one of my pieces was accepted into the Day of the Dog exhibit coming up the latter part of the month at the Perfect Exposure Gallery.
When I first got an email asking me to submit images for consideration, I thought it was great for local Los Angeles pet photographers to have a chance to display their work.
One of my images, Seamus at the Urban Lights, was one of the three I entered that made it in.
But then I got the email of the photographers whose work will be displayed... and my jaw dropped. These are animal photographers of international renown! Truly humbled to be among them!
Here is the press release and it is my hope that you will come to the exhibit and if you do I would love to meet you. This really is going to be an amazing collection and if I wasn't in it myself, I would totally go. Best thing, it also benefits Los Angeles Animal Services. And in another it's a small world note... I adopted both of my cats... let's call June 13 Day of the Cats... at the East Valley Shelter, which is one of the six shelter's Los Angeles operateds.

About the Exhibit
On National Day of the Dog we celebrate Man’s Best Friend in all his glory. From the loving domestic sidekick to the wild dogs of Africa; the agile canine athletes traversing Alaska to the work dogs tirelessly herding livestock in Florida; the fearless animals rescuing victims of tragedy and still others donning the latest fashion trends. The Dog is often revered, some sometimes overlooked, and always in need of more recognition because we humans can learn so much from these faithful, loving and humorous animals. Amateur and professional photographers from across the globe are stepping forward to benefit LA Animal Services.
