I've been wanting to do this for a long time. In fact, I already do it... I offer pet photography sessions at some of Los Angeles' most iconic landmarks. You probably already saw (aw, who am I kidding, no one sees anything here except for the crickets). I call it my I Love L.A. Pet Photography Photo Sessions. It's my signature, really. Sometimes we get a lot of images from the session, sometimes just a few. But these photographs are as iconic as L.A. itself.
We photographed an actress, Kirby, and her Boxer Apollo at -- where else? -- Hollywood Boulevard. Besides the photo in front of the El Capitan theater, we also photographed the two of them with Captain Jack Sparrow, Chewbacca, Elvis and Marilyn Monroe in what was one of my funnest photo shoots.
See the Presa Canario against the blue wall? That's Cholo in front of the colorful, artistic graffiti at the Los Angeles Arts District. Block after block has walls covered in exquisite graffiti. It's what makes the L.A. Arts District the L.A. Arts District.
The little Boston terrier... that's Amelie. Her parents are actors. We photographed Amelie with the iconic Hollywood sign as the backdrop near a place where the three of them always go hiking.
The Vizsla chasing the sailboat is Laszlo. What can be more Los Angeles than a dog frolicking on the beach at sunset?
And there's Seamus, the giant Mastiff, at the Los Angeles County Museum's Urban Lights installation. Everyone, and I mean everyone, from Angelenos to tourists alike, goes to LACMA's lights to have their photo taken. But a dog? Now that's Hollywood.
I have a huge list of locations for my I Love L.A. Pet Photography Photo Sessions. Big, big list. Where do you want your dog to be photographed? I'm all ears, and perky ones at that.
Oh, by the way, my I Love L.A. session was featured in Refinery 29's "17 Reasons L.A.'s Wealthiest Dogs are Winning at Life!"
