This little kitty was found in a parking lot outside of a cat show in Arcadia a couple of weeks ago. Judi, a nice woman attending the show from South Carolina, took this blue girl back to her hotel to keep her safe for the night. She was emaciated, the theory being her own young mother probably went into heat and stopped caring for her. Judi fed her and kept her warm over night.
The next day, Judi brought her back to the cat show and she was adopted on the spot by another nice woman named Edie. The little girl had a few digestive imbalances, okay, the runs, but Edie has experience nursing little ones back to health.
The baby's portrait shows her rough beginning. But once she is healthy, safe, and warm, she will be a splendid addition to Edie's family, I have no doubt. She is beautiful.
In recognition of this baby and on behalf of all the cats, including the many I have had the pleasure of caring for - including the boys Kiwi and Mango - Happy National Cat Day to all!
