Where did time fly, right? Whew, it's been a while since I've tapped out anything on my keyboard. So look, who in their right mind needs another newsletter. But I've got one. This is separate from my main one, which introduces any special sessions I'm having or other offerings and whatnot.
This newsletter is called The Lab Report. Why? I like to experiment with my pet photography. I bring things in, I take things out. Like I just took out any outdoor pet shoots. Why? I've got something more interesting, more fun for outdoors. I think it will be a great session for big dogs and their people. Yes, it's one that involves people. I'm lining up the test shoots now.
What else was an experiment? Dog Noir, Soul of a Dog, Ice Cream Socials for Dogs, and the backdrops and post-processing used in my Signature sessions. I do test shoots and if they work, I move on with them. If they don't, you'll still get good images. They'll just be one of a kind.
So that's kind of The Lab and that's why it needed it's own Report. I need participants for either competition images or a new type of session or art product, lighting and backgrounds. I develop these pet photography sessions behind the scenes before I introduce them to the greater Los Angeles area. So when you see them offered on my website, they've been tested and I know what I'm doing.
