Last year, Hope for Paws asked me to photograph a pit bull mother and her four puppies that Eldad Hagar and his team rescued. I was happy to do it and actually had two photo shoots with Lexi and her puppies.

This weekend, I went to The Little Red Dog's Founder's Day (TLRD fostered the puppies and mom until they were ready to be adopted) in Lake Forest and Lexi, Cooper and Beamer were there! I really don't think they recognized one another. But it was great to have them reunited.

Cooper is being raised by Jennifer and Jeff Harmell, who adore him. Beamer is brother to an older, protective sister named Sydney and is owned by Mark and Denise Needham. And Lexi, who was the first of all five to be adopted, makes her home with Ann and Richard Yoon. She was their first pick and they couldn't be more thrilled with her. All of them are very loved by their pet parents.

So here is an update to their story. I'm including a few images of Lexi and her puppies so you can see them then and now. Warning, this is a photo intensive post.
